SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency reported it's alarmed in regards to the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area regularly.
